Does anyone have LED tail light on their 07 gs? i have been told the canbus sys don't like them...voltage sensor causes fault or something like that. But i see some vendors that say they have and some say no. Any thoughts on this?

I've got both LED turn signals and the LED taillight on my 07' R1200R, no issues with th computer or the Canbus system at all. Much brighter light output though, a definate plus!

I do have some German made ones (the ones with the additional strip of red brake LED's down the center) - and people following me have commented that they are difficult to see when direct sunlight is on the lights. I switched to clear lenses - which helped a bit..

LED tail light is stock on the '08 GSA - can't be a CANBUS reason!
... unless a resistor is added to compensate!

There are several companies that make canbus friendly lights for your GS. Check with wonderlich and touratech, and also www.p3lights.com which are add on lights, but far brighter and better than anything else out there in my humble opinion! I have them, as do hundreds of people now.

I'm sure the turns were Hornig and I believe the tail was too. All purchased thru A&S. I can find the turns on their web site but can't find the tail just yet. The bike came with clear turn lenses and tail came with an integral clear lens housing.
