I changed my fairing frame (result of close encounter with the hoofed kind) and am in the process of reconnecting all the wires etc. My 1934 Harley Davidson only had a sparkplug wire and a wire to the head light and taillight. My RT looks like the underside of the dash board of a Boeing 747!! Some kind and wiser persons on this forum warned me to take lots of photos before dismantling the fairing, which I did. However, I used a flash unnecessarily and the photos are so washed out I can't make them out. Now! On the off chance that someone out there on this vast network called the internet just may, coincidently have their fairing removed for some reason, and could take a few digital shots and email them to me or post on this forum, I would be eternally grateful. My bike is a 2001 R1100RT-Police bike but I'm sure any of the RT oilheads would be the same. Thanks so much, in advance.:hug

The BMW manual has clear diagrams of the wiring. If you can not find a copy on the internet PM me and I will try and help.

You might also be able to "photoshop" your pictures and lower the "gamma" or perhaps the brightness setting to see the colors you're missing.

As per Darryl's suggestion, post a few or send them to me (scott -at- bmwmoa -dot- o r g) and I'll see if I can resurrect something.

And if Scott's too busy or wants to split the labor, I'll also be happy to do the same (since I dwell in Photoshop land all day long...)
