I am having issues with my clutch on a 2004 R1150RT. It has started losing pressure and requires some care. It is now in my shop out of commission until I can get the parts. I plan to replace the Clutch Slave Cylinder and rebuild the Master.

Does anyone know where I can find a master clutch cylinder rebuild kit (internals)? I'd rather not pay for a completely new hand lever since the external is in great shape.

Thanks!

Brett

btw... very frustrating in the city the size of Houston to find only three shops that specifically do work on BMW's... but a thousand Harley shops... plus, all three refused to take on a new repair job for three weeks... $#@$@!

In a city the size of Houston u will have someone who sales seals for the oil industry. Check the yellow pages under seals. Take the old seals and see if they can match them up. This is just a guess but the seals are probably EPDM. The seals are probably "parachute" or "cup" seals. On my airhead I had to rebuild the master cylinder. The replacement cup seal I found was not the right thickness but the diameter was correct. I shimmed the seal with an EPDM "O" ring. It is still working.
