I am considering new windshield for my 99RT. What experience have you guys had with Aeroflow, CE Bailey or some other?

Just installed a +6 +2 wide Cee Bailey on my 2000 RT yesterday. It is in Colorado and I'm in Minnesota today and it was snowing when I left. :banghead
Next Saturday I'm planning a ride so I can let you know my impressions vs the stocker I replaced.

Have been very pleased with my Aeroflow, much better protection and much less buffetting than stock. Also simple to install.:thumb

I have the CB Euro on my RT. It has a lip which deflects the air upward. This allows me keep the top of the windshield low enough that I look over it. I like that, but understand it may not be for everyone.

I had a Cee Bailey screen on my RT when I bought it. Replaced it with an Aeroflow before my alaska trip last year and was very glad I did. I'm very happy with it. LT

I had a rep from ZTechnik send me a demo shield for my ST - I thought it would be cool to have a little more protection in the winter - the problem was - It stopped right at the same level as my head and the wind noise was HORRINDOUS!!!! I rode with it for one day - came home and yanked it off - put the stock back on - ahhhh much better!!
I guess the same theory would apply with all shields - watch where it hits ya on the bike.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am especially looking for added hand/wind protection and less buffeting or wind noise. I should also say that I like to look over and not through the windshield.

I've got the Cee Bailey #2 Euro cut +3.5" in the light grey tint. Very nice and quiet. The tint is barely perceptable, but it darkens the edges for a clean look.

I have the largest Aeroflow on my RT-P.

It also works in snow, but I wish I had the wiper option installed.

But seriously, as far as the Aeroflow works on a RT, when adjusted to the highest setting, the top of the screen is just about level with the top of my helmet. I'm 6' tall and have the seat on the middle height setting. I don't like looking through the screen - I prefer to look over the top of it, so the sweet spot is about half-way through the range of adjustment. I can see over the top of the screen, but most of the airflow and debris, rain, etc. is directed over the top of my head. When it gets warm or I want to blow the rain off my face shield, I just lower the screen and the slipstream blasts my face.
The screen provides very little protection to my hands - at least on my bike. It's possible that my giant PIAA 910's route air and rain directly into my hands. I use handlebar covers when it's wet because wet gloves aren't much fun.
