Does anyone on the forum know how much fork oil is supposed to be in each fork tube on a 1976 R90/6? My Haynes manual is a bit unclear on this. Thanks!

My Haynes lists the original recommendations as:
drain/refill - 265cc
rebuild - 280cc
They also list reduced volumes designed to improve damping:
drain/refill - 235cc
rebuild - 250cc

Thanks all!
I just rebuilt my forks and also installed a pair of Progressive springs. My manual (or at least the portion I read) suggested an amount about 2 inches from the bottom of a welding rod, that is used as a dip stick, when slid into the fork oil orifice. I measured the volume of oil before I put it in (and before I posted this question) and it came to 300cc per tube. So all I have to do is drain about 20cc from each tube and I'm good to go.
Thanks again!
