I'll be happy to swing by your house and cut yours too, but you'd damn well better have your wife make fresh cookies and lemonade for me.

Oh, and for all those Canadians who are still shoveling their "grass", I say HAHAHA HA!

I'm about to move some in a few minutes, but not with a shovel

But this place just got another 5 cm and there's still a month and a half to go (and I still have free passes):

It's something I do to stay in touch with the common man.

Do you dry it and bag it as well?

Grass roots effort, you might say?

That's because you get 3mm of liquid every year, and 2mm of that is the schoolkids pissing in your yard.

Just under the fence in the back. :ha

Our bamboo varietal is something like Golden Sunset or something.

Just cut mine today too. I'm so glad to have that task back in my life for the next 7.5 months. Of course, the grass will go dormant in mid-July, and I'll only have to cut it every 3-4 weeks after that until late Sept. The John Deere fired right up. Belched out some dark grey smoke upon re-entry, but ran like a champ after a few laps.

Hey, she would be delighted. Does your service include thawing the grass first? :whistle

The riding was great around Ottawa yesterday. Mind you I had quite the time getting the bike out of the igloo but you knew that already.

Seems like this thread is heading towards the pound.

No, no, no . . . you make the big money AFTER you are president! ;)

BTW - I cut the grass here over the weekend for the third time this year.

Breadman, I am in. I calculated that by the time you get here on your lawnmower, our grass will be growing. I'll have my wife make Milk and Cookies for you for sure, for your random act of kindness.

I'm thinking that, by the end of the month, it should be safe to rearrange the garage and put the snowblowers in the back and bring the mower to the front.:whistle

raking it but not shoveling it. Halifax is sunny, warm (uh, 52F). No snow at all. Now, about that mowing...... no cookies but a dark 'n' dirty and a fine Cuban cigar can be retrieved forthwith.:ca -Bob

Mr Breadman (or is it ex-ditator-to-be),

The benefit of being a Canadian right now, is that as you rightly stated my lawn is buried in snow. What it means is that since the roads are now freed of snow, I can simply ride my motorcycle instead of cutting grass..... :dance Actually I put in 300km on my odometer this afternoon.

But you are welcome to come and take care of my lawn in July (all month) I will even leave a cold case of beer just for you, while I ride ;)

Happy mowing

Cheers

Denis

YIKES!..... God bless ya taking your ride man. Beautiful Quebec but I would not want that snow. Terrific ski country. I think that down through Upstate NY and surrounding area it's similar. Ainsi, pour vous, le Breadman devra attendre un moment pour commencer à faucher ! Coffre-fort de tour. -Bob (in sunny, warm, no snow Halifax!)

Hey Denis,

I'm on my way, but I need to know where the ski lift is. Those are some pretty gnarly moguls you have in your yard.

I have decided that I will have my neighbor from down the road bring about 6 of his cow's to my house. I have approximately 5 acres that needs cutting. Due to the gas prices, I'll let the cow's mow my lawn. That means more gas money and riding time. :dance

Did you forget to factor in the disposal factor? What will the cows do with the grass when they're done?

Hey Breadman, those aren't moguls, it is just a typical practice ramp for canadian RTs and KLTs.... You should see what the GS guys use for practice up here!!!

Seriously, I spent 2 days chopping a small trench through 6 inches of solid ice to link up the driveway to the street. My wife still thinks I'm nuts. Maybe? but I'm finally riding:dance

An easy answer on for an easy question.

Give it out as campaign donations!:doh

Keep your head low and your socks dry. The Germans will shoot at anything, and I can assure you that trench warfare is no joke.
