In the seemingly unending drama in my life the past 18 months, today I have a job interview. It sure is tough going from 58k to 30k. Anyway, it is what it is!:banghead

I took about a 20% pay cut with my latest career move. The plus side is a 100% reduction in stress level. Ok, maybe not 100% but pretty close. Money isn't everything.
Good Luck

I'm hoping to have a couple interviews next week, as well.

Working it good. Sometimes you gotta take the step back to move up. I don't know what you do for a living, but that kind of downgrade is a hard sell to a employer too. S/He knows the minute the economy picks up, you'll pick up and get back to what you should be doing. Tough situation.

Paul moved down in the salary schedule last job, but ended up making a lot more AND loving the work. Wishing the same to you!

Thanks for the good words guys. :nod The interview went well I thought, my prospective employer was impressed (his words) with my qualifications and my job history. They will be making a decision within 2 weeks and will be scheduling second interviews next week. I'm keeping my hopes up.
