Airhead parts

Hi all,

We are recent members of the BMWOA. Our motorcyle is located in Huntington beach awaiting our next (3rd visit) from UK.
I am looking for a supplier for replacement mufflers and shock absorbers in the Los Angeles area. My airhead is a R90/6 and I am happy to use the Ikon dial a ride and pattern type mufflers. I would also be interested to know of any airhead specialist in the Huntington beach area. If anyone can make recommendations it will greatly assist.

I recently bought a pair of EPCO sport mufflers (like Norton Commando peashooters) for my 84 R100RT and couldn't be happier with them. Tom at EPCO was pretty helpful, and the quality of the product is top notch. They're about $400 (and there are other styles, BTW). I thought I'd throw in this recommendation.

BTW, I bought Ikon shocks too, online. ~$300. Google to find either. - Brian

irv seaver might be your nearest dealer. i believe they still support airheads

i have no first hand experience. hevent heard anything bad about them, but havent heard anything good either.

there might also be some in north san diego area

try asking on the boxerworks forum, as there are a few guys in that area on there

you can get cheapo replica stock mufflers for less than $200 from J C Whitney iirc. I think they are also sold under the name emgo. those are pretty much the ones you see on ebay all the time

look in your latest MOA magazine, I don't have one here, but some dealer has factory type mufflers for a good price, evrything mounts the same. you'll have to do mail order prob...
