I have an 08 RT with a custom seat built to the same height as BMW's low profile seat. With a 28" inseam I still find myself having to balance the bike on my tip toes when I come to a stop. According to my dealer, because I have ESC there is no lowering kits available that he is aware of.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to lower the overall height? Are there any after market companies that offer lowering kits for RT's with Electronic Suspension Control? What options do I have?

I know several people with inseams that can't be more than 28 inches riding these bikes. If you can't find a solution with a lower seat, or thicker soles on your shoes, have you looked into "distraction osteogenesis"? ...of course you won't be riding for about a year.

Works Performance apparently can incorporate the ESC system into their shorter shocks - allowing you to lower the bike. Other vendors can also provide shorter shocks, but you loose the ESC adjustment system and are back to a normal manual set of adjustments.

I found the Works Performance site last night and forward it to my dealer. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll make a post when I get the details.
