I took all my tupperware off the LT to prepare for brake, clutch, and coolant flushing. I found what I believe to be the ABS pump behind the left side battery cover.

What puzzles me is the ABS pump bleed screws. It appears that one is recessed in the vertical side facing out the left side of the bike. How can you get a tool on that screw, and with a hose on it?

The other is on the rear of the pump at approximately 45 degree angle up pointing rearward. I can see getting a tool on that but not easily.

The pictures in my Clymer book do not match what I see on the bike so would like some reassurance that I'm seeing this correctly.

Never mind, I figured it out. Those screws are for the pump itself, probably don't want to mess with that anyway!

Those screws are for bleeding the control side of the Integral ABS. If you're changing brake fluid, you'll need to bleed at any of them you can reach.

The ABS pump on my K1200RS has 6 bleed nipples. You need to bleed each one of those in a certain order. I know there is a link on the K-Bikes.com list for this procedure. Of course mine may differ from yours.
