The current BMW MOA magazine has a cover picture featuring an airhead. Can someone identify the make / model of the windshield? I have a 81 R100 with Luftmeister fairing and am looking to strip the bike down some, but would still like a windshield.

It looks like a National Cycle Plexifairing 2 which I believe is NLA. It was basically the same as a Plexifairing 3 but didn't extend down below the signal lights. Or the owner shortened a Plexifairing 3.

Has anyone tried a Parabellum Sport shield? I am thinking about one but wanted to hear from someone who has one.

Thanks for the info. Been sick since I posted the question and just now getting back to the computer. I appreciate the input. The Plex #3 is still available. Think I'm going to give it a try.

I had the Plex #3 on a 92 R100R, it worked better than the Scout I put on after that.

At first I also thought the /6 on the MOA cover had a Plexistar 2, but a closer look reveals the Plexistar 2 has cut outs near the mirror mounts and there is a "step" on the bottom edge near the signal light. Neither feature is on the windshield of the /6.
Bring back the Plexifairing 2!

That motorcycle would be beautiful with anything (except any kind of fairing) or nothing on it!
I am hunting for a 75/6-7 now, of course it has to be black!!!
