I was changing my low beam bulb and when I got the screw out of the wire clamp, it fell out of my hand and disappeared! I had just vacuumed the carpet in the garage so I should have found it. Checked all the likely crevices in the bike but to no avail! Since I didn't see it, I don't know what to replace it with. The parts fiche does not show it!
Anyone know what it is? I think there was a small plate under the head of the screw but I'm sure a washer will do in it's place!

I don't see it either on the earliest or the latest parts fiche. Wonder if there is a discarded headlight at the used parts guys that would send you one?

Holy Crap ! I must be a heathen, I would never have thought to carpet the garage. I am so unworthy! :bow :bow :bow

Yes, carpet in the garage! I have a furnace that I run when I'm out there but the floor never warms up so my a$$ gets a little cold sitting on the concrete! With a painted and speckled floor, it also makes it a lot easier to see stuff when you drop, normally!
My wife says I spend more time cleaning the garage that cleaning the house, not that you can tell by looking at it. But, I also spend more time messing it up than the house also!

(Getting new/used cabinets in the garage today.. only costing me a new kitchen in the house..)

That's what I'm looking for now, some cabinets. All my bottles of oils and cleaners and stuff create too much "visual pollution" according to the SO!:violin

Is this a screw that holds the wire clamp to the headlite shell...a screw that you don't have to remove to change a bulb? The one I am thinking of has a T20 head and is about a #6 self tapping.

Yep, that's the one! I guess it would have helped ( and saved two hours ) to read the manual ( yes I do have one ) before attempting the simple ( or so I thought ) lightbulb replacement!:banghead
It's done now!!:thumb

Ok. I was going to say that I have just found one of those screws if you needed one.
