carbs for /5

Somebody tell me...what about putting Mikuni carbs on a '73 60/5? Anybody have experience with them on a 600?:usa

overly complex carbs and a convoluted installation.
Tell us more about the reason for the desire to change.
my R60/5 used to ping until it was properly tuned.
i admit that the slide carbs are archaic but they are more or less a set it and forget it rig.
if your looking for more power, upsize the cylindars to 900 then add a set of CVs.

Actually I pretty much thought that was the answer. I'm just going through old low mileage bike and getting ready to hopefully ride...rebuilt front end, new tires, gaskets, etc. Just wondered if new carbs would help...
