View Full Version : Hottie Wants Ride

Suppose you and your wife/girl friend pulled up to a retaurant, etc and a young Hottie said to you "What kind of motorcycle is that? Can I have a ride?"

My question is would you give her a ride and what would your wife/girl friend say when you got back (assuming you gave her the ride)? :eat

Women, of course, are welcome to respond.

I have no wife/girlfriend at this time, but...

If I had a wife/girlfriend and some unknown girl walked up and asked for a ride, I'm smart enough to say no. :)

The other thing that comes into play is:

I WILL NOT take anyone for a ride without at least a helmet and riding jacket. I don't carry them with me unless I know I'm taking a passenger, so I'd probably say no based on that. The other issue is do I want someone I don't know riding on the back of my bike? I wouldn't be very comfortable with that.

All THAT being said, not having a helmet and a jacket is a good way for a single guy to get a phone number. "I wouldn't want to risks injuring a beautiful girl like you. I'd be happy to pick you up and take you for a ride sometime. I can provide you a helmet and riding jacket. What's your number?" :D

No way in h- - - would I give her a ride. Nor would my wife allow it.
I have to go through the third degree when I go on field trips with college coeds in my class. I am almost old enough to be their grandfather now and she still doesn't like it when we go hiking in the hills on those hot days looking at rocks.

Hey RJM,

A genuine hottie would ask for the keys, to take it for a spin, by herself. That way you and your's could enjoy your meal in relative quiet. :eat

J.K. :wow

P.S. Sure, the ensuing silence would be deafening, but that's not a bad thing.

Well, I haven't had some random girl ask for a ride, actually. I HAVE had girls I work with ask me for a ride, which I was happy to provide. One was pretty scared the whole time (we went to lunch), but things went OK. The other was an excellent passenger, always asking me to ride faster in the twisties, until I scraped my side stand. Too bad she had to move back to France, and had a boyfriend. :D

I pulled into a rest stop to get gas here in Ma. Getting gas, a guy came over to talk about motorcycles - said he thought about getting one, was not sure if his wife would let him - asked him if he wanted a ride around the parking lot he said NO but then asked his wife she said YES - so I gave her a ride around the parking lot AND HER HANDS WONDERED around ME. Drove her back to her husband before I explosed. She got off and got in their car, I told the guy - DUDE get a bike - I think you'll both enjoy it.
I never did tell my wife, a perk to say :thumb

A women in full riding gear is hot. For one, you know she's smart. Also, wearing all that gear adds to the mystery - she's like an unopened present. :D

Is that over the line? Don't want this to end up in the doghouse. I hope my "smart" comment reflects my respect for women. :)

I feel sorry for anyone whose SOs get bent out of shape just because there are other women in the world. I feel sorry for SOs who are so lacking in trust that they *can* get bent out of shape.

My wife Claire doesn't ride, even as pillion. I take other women with me as passengers frequently. Claire knows and approves - she also trusts me. There's never an issue.

In thailand the girls would ride side saddle due the skirts being so short and tight (mid 60's)

man, talk about distracting!!!

And I found it equally fun to ride on the back of several of my G-friends bikes back in the 70's before all the gear, made for kind of a nice change!:bliss
I mean, why should they have all the fun and get to snuggle?? Plus the view from the back was kinda nice as well...

In the case of significant other (this case my wife), she would probably say sure and give her a ride herself. :laugh
However, the last time that happened it went from great to bad. It went like this, stop at traffic light, hot girl at corner of intersection in hot pants (red). Says wow, can I have a ride? I respond sure. Things are going great, then I get "can I drive? :doh Why not? Ok, I get on the back and she takes off. Well, I do not know if she was just having fun, trying to impress me, or just a nut. We came around a turn at 55mph to see a stop sign and intersection. She tries to stop, I knew there was no way she was going to stop, so I :bolt I remember passing her and the bike as I continued through the intersection after I jumped off. (I wear a helmet and gear now)

Riding a motorcycle together is a fairly intimate experience and not something most wives will share.

I once gave a ride to a female friend of both of us when my wife was not around and I foolishly let her use my wife's helmet.. This was 7 years ago.. I'll never do that again. I am still reeling from the pain.... I broke some unwritten rule I have been told over and over and over and over and over. It was about the helmet and not the ride

Well, I have a wife and a girlfriend. My life has never been as complicated as it is right now because they both know about the other. So unless you want to be banging your head agaisnt the wall, Don't Go There. I did and it led to more than just a bike ride. No man in his right mind should complicate his life as much as I have, but of course I was having blood flow issues at the time and now I am trying to figure out how to sort this mess out I have gotten myself into. And the girlfriend of course is totally smoking hot!!! :bolt

Considering my SO & I can both think for ourselves, it would be inconsequential what he thought about my taking someone on my bike.
That said, I would not be inclined to take a stranger for a ride for any reason.
And if someone asked him for a ride, I'm sure he'd explain there is no room 'cause he's carrying all my gear. :p

As of this May I will have been married 40 years. I know the drill. I'd invite the young thing to ride as pillion on my wife's bike instead.

My lesson was learned some years ago when a very attractive -- and very married -- work mate and neighbor asked me to ferry her to work for a few days while her Mercedes was being repaired. My only mode of transportation at the time was my beloved Triumph Bonneville, but I was happy to oblige. The young lady's husband, a Frenchman actually named Francois, was quite happy with this arrangement and thanked me profusely for being such a good neighbor and colleague. My wife, who is not from France and is not named Francine, was less than enthusiastic and -- occasionally -- alludes to the incident to this day wondering aloud why it took five friggin' days to fix a Mercedes, f'Gawd's sake...

Boy, you must have one of the new snazzy plastic maggot style of BMW.

I have an R90/6 and Diann always teases me that only old German men come over to talk, or kids who say things like....

"My Dad used to have one of those before he got a real bike"

I wouldn't randomly give a ride to a stranger, I don't care how hot she was.

If it was a friend or acquaintance, no problem. My wife doesn't ride on the back of my motorcycle, and likely never will. Giving a ride to someone of the opposite sex just isn't a big deal, IMHO.

By the way, for the record, married almost 29 years, 4 children, in love more now than ever.

Yeahhh... I don't think so. It shows no respect to your S.O. and it is guaranteed to come up in any argument you will have until the end of your relationship (which might come sooner than you think if you are taking hotties for a ride and leaving your S.O. waiting for you to come back).

It only went bad because you started thinking with your "auxiliary" brain and let her drive. Someone wants to drive, tell 'em to go rent one. These bikes are mighty expensive to fix when you crash and speaking of crashes why would you take the chance of riding with someone whose skill level is an unknown. Poor judgment on your part.

This happens to me a lot and I almost always say yes. Which is why I'm not married. But most of you are probably old enough to be my dad, so I guess my perspective is a little different.

Now that I have a GF I still take other girls for rides, but they are girls I know and it doesn't mean anything I swear! It was just a one time thing! You are a much better passenger than she is! Oh, sorry. I'm just practicing my lines. :laugh
However, if a hottie I didn't know who was trying to pick me up, approached me and asked for a ride in front of my GF, I would have to turn her down. My GF is 21 and very very cute, so either way I'm riding with a cute passenger. Its much nicer to ride with one who isn't constantly punching you in the ribs and kidneys all the way home for being such an ass (dont ask me how I know.)

Last summer I would take cute girls for rides all the time. It was exciting when they would hold on tight and press up against me and yell "Go Faster!"
And I do have to agree with the comment made earlier, nothing kills the mood faster than talking about helmets and jackets and such with a college coed who is eager for her first ride on a bike. When you start handing them over to the girl and say "you need to wear this" their whole expression and body language changes. One second they're expression is saying "Wow! How exciting, a motorcycle ride! I'm moderately to very turned on! I could consider a physical relationship with this guy." And as soon as you mention "ATGATT" it changes to "Wait, you mean we could DIE?!?! I thought you said you knew how to drive one of these things!"
You just cock blocked yourself! :doh :laugh

I study animal behavior at school and its well documented that females are more likely to mate with the males who exhibit risk taking behavior. So if you're risky enough to take a younger female who has greater "reproductive potential" than your current mate for a ride IN FRONT OF your current mate, then you're probably also willing to risk riding without the gear. And from an evolutionary standpoint that's a good thing because it also increases the chance of a mating opportunity with the new female, which is the only opportunity you'll get to mate once your wife kicks you out of the house! :laugh

If some girl is willing to take the risk of riding on a motorcycle with no protective gear, then who knows what other risks she's willing to take with her "mating" practices. Seriously, if a girl wants to do that just for giving her a ride on my bike, I don't even want her on the seat.

I'm not nearly old enough to be your dad, but I've never gone for the vapid moron type of girl who would hop on a strangers bike without any gear on, regardless of how she looks. Why waste my time on that; I might end up missing a woman of substance.

YMMV.

Josh, take note;

I, personally, have 2 rules regarding this topic of taking other women on a ride.
1) you must wear a helmet.
2) we are not having sex.
It's the helmet thing that scares them off.

No man in his right mind should complicate his life as much as I have, but of course I was having blood flow issues at the time and now I am trying to figure out how to sort this mess out I have gotten myself into. And the girlfriend of course is totally smoking hot!!! :bolt

Damn Chuck, it's because of guys like you that there are always fewer single women than single men. Be kind and stop hogging. :stick

But seriously, I'm *so completely doomed* to spending my life alone that I don't think that either the SO or hottie will ever enter the picture so the question is moot.

Exactly! My wife's rule is, it's alright for me to read the menu......as long as I dine at home.

I don't always wear gear so I don't see that stopping me from giving a hot chick a ride. Now my wife on the other hand... Yeah thats the stopper.

I've done it. In fact, I first met my wife of 24 years that way. Early in college I was at work and a friend came in and said he knew a couple of sorority girls that wanted a ride, was I up for it. We rode down and picked the girls up and spent the day riding around. The girl and I didn't date until about 5 years later after school. She remembered the ride and how large my shoulders were then!

Recently, a friend, who had just been "enhanced" wanted a ride, wifey said sure and off we go! The friend is a hugger. One of the better rides I could remember. Afterwards, the wife mentioned she noticed the friend was holding on tightly. Course she did, she was riding behind right behind us on her own bike.

My wife is very secure with our marriage so a little flirting is fine with her.

She's a keeper!

:laugh

are you JK's son?

sorry, i'm 1.5 months older than you, live in nyc and from what i've been told i'm a fashionable, decent looking young man. this never happens to me. maybe girls find boxers "off-putting" .:laugh

My question is what would your wife/girl friend say when you got back (assuming you gave her the ride)?

Its not what she'd say, but what she'd do to that passenger. My girlfriend is Italian...a real Italian. :thumb

Actually, there are a number of engineering questions to ask before I answer this post:

1. Define Hot. I mean, exactly how are we defining the term. Are we talking jaw dropping.

2. Has the bike had thorough maintenance?

3. Is it full of gas?

I ask these questions because she would have to be a jaw dropping hottie and I figure I would need to get at least 200 miles in the first shot at a competitive speed to keep my wife from catching up with me in a cage and beating me senseless with some domestic appliance. My wife has given "the look" to the redhead at my gym for sitting in the lobby and discussing current events. If she were on the back of my scoot with her hands wrapped around my belt I better just keep riding... really fast.

I am, in many ways, an old school "biker" The girl on the back of your bike is your girl and my wife knows that. The only other females on the back of my bike are called "nieces" and "daughters" and in an emergency "plane crash survivors.

Well I can honestly say that not one hottie has ever asked me for a ride on my BWM, but on my Harley I have had many seek out a ride.
Now my wife is the only woman that rides on either bike, not true I did offer to take her 86 old grandmother for a ride. Her husband road most of his life.:type

The only time I've had hotties eyeing my bike for a ride was when a H-D poker run stopped at the same place I was pulled over and about 1/2 dozen women that had been riding on a postage stamp sized passenger seats came over and drooled over the seat room in my double side car rig :whistle

My 11 year old daughter wasn't going to trade with them :laugh

Ok, lets think about this. For the benefit of discussion let's say that you and your S.O. are about to break up anyway and this girl is really hot.

1 She is willing to approach you with your S.O. right there! = 5 crazy points

2 She is willing to get on the back of your bike and she has never even spoken to you, you could be a drooling idiot. = 5 crazy points

3 She obviusly is willing to ride with not even a helmet as she doesn't even know if your s.0.'s helmet will fit. = 5 crazy points

The bottom line to me is she is probably unbalanced and even if the sex is great you will have to deal with her afterward. Also, if she is willing to go that far with that little information, imagine what she would do when she is comfortable or bored with you....

Kind of makes you wonder where else she has been (right now she is presumably sober)!

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine and it cost him a year and a truck to get rid of the crazy chick!

I say run far and fast!

So what does the motorcycle have to do with giving her a ride? :whistle

Sure the hottie can ride pillion. But only if she wears all my ugly gear, from Arai helmet to Darien suit to Daytona boots
just like every other rider in our group.
Because if there's an accident, the rider is liable, and he's married to ME, so I'm financially liable.

Do ya think she'd still be game to go then? Do you think you want to risk taking her out for a $pin then?
