Why doesn’t somebody build a power plant near that underground fire in PA.?
It looks like free energy to me.

1. too dangerous
2. by the time it was built, the "free" fuel would run out! :doh

Well, to start, the ground is rather unstable; lots of ground collapse near the "active" areas. The other issue I see is that it's spread out over a larger area, so it's pretty difficult to get a concentrated area of heat. It's also moving, so a "hot" area would eventually move out from under the power plant.
