Bought the 650GS

Well, I paid for the bike and going to pick it up this weekend. So here's the big question. I'm wanting a taller seat. Any suggestions from people that have purchased them for their 650?

I run the Dakar seat on my F650GS, and am having it modified at the moment.
Not very comfortable in standard form, MHO.
May pay to look aftermarket for comfort, and get one made to suit your height.

I have the Sargent tall seat on my GS and it is much better than either the regular or tall BMW seats for comfort.

Congrats, Fletch! May he or she carry you safely over many many miles.

Gee, most people are looking for a lower seat. My suggestion is to look at an aftermarket as the stock BMW seats aren't exactly known for comfort. I purchased a Rick Mayer and have been very happy. He made mine a bit lower but I'm sure he could raise the height as well.

I received my Rick Mayer solo seat a few weeks ago. I haven't been able to ride yet this season but I took a ride out to the dealer (bike is in storage) and put the seat on and gave it a try. The seat lifts me about an inch and helps with the strain on my knee bend (5'8" with long legs). The sending back and forth to CA went smoothly. I'm looking forward to breaking-in the seat.
