Anybody have links to sites for aftermarket exhaust systems for the R1200S?

I would like to see some slip ons and full systems. I think Remus and Akrapovic have some, but can't find anything online.

I'm not sure I want to do it, but I would like to see some options.

Thanks.

Ben, two sites I can suggest. http://www.akrapovic-exhaust.com/index.php. Also, http://www.staintune.com.au. I have the Akrapovic slip on bought from the dealer. It is titanium and sounds stock with the baffles in. With the baffles out, it has a nice baritone rumble. Absolutely not offensive, but MUCH better than stock. I actually have this for sale in the flea market as I bought the full Staintune system. (I had one on my prior VFR and just love the stainless look.) I am insane when it comes to the 1200s. It is a fantastic machine. Don't have it installed yet, so can't vouch for the sound etc. If the VFR system is any indicator, they are MUCH louder than stock. I also understand Remus makes a really good system for these bikes. ymmv.

Thanks for the info. I just might be your buyer for that Akrapovic slip-on. Let me check it out and get back to you.

Pic of the Akra slip-ons. Very pleased, would get them again without hesitation. Stock headers very efficient.

Remus makes some very cool pipes for a bit less $$. I've been considering pipes for a bit....but I love the bike as is...for the time being.

Thanks for the suggestions folks.

sfarson: I like the look! By the way, where did you get the clear turn signal lenses? Mine are yellow (front & rear).

There are a couple of sources for the clear lens... Check out:

And also your BMW dealer.

Also have clear lens on the front:

Web site access is spotty for some unknown reason, but I installed a Rumus slip on. Black muffler body, twin chrome tips with removable baffles. I am running w/o baffles, and it sounds excellent and has a lift throttle great bubble. Approx cost $800.

Went slip on as previous experience with full system on R1100RS showed min power gain, and the R12S really needs no extra power for me.
