This link was forwarded to me. I work in the nuclear power generation industry and it is an incredible ride tale from a very brave woman, I think she may like the adrenaline kick a bit but it is only my humble .02.
She offers a very different perspective on life.

That was wild. I think I could handle a ride through, but not so sure about walking around in the buildings, etc.
Thanks for sharing.
Very sobering......

dzimbric: I clicked on this out of curiousity and found myself riveted by Elena's photographs, story, and frankness about this forgotten site. It is absolutely an incredible and spellbinding story and I highly recommend that others take the time to start it, because like any good book, once you start it you can't stop until the end.

Five stars! This is one outstanding story. I had no idea just how massive the affected area was, nor how many people died. Up to 400,000 deaths from an accident just 18 years ago and somehow we didn't know and never will know the true story. Elena's photographs and story are simply very very powerful.

Thanks for the feedback.

I work in the nuclear industry and recently underwent a Systems training class that used the Discovery documentary on the Chernobyll accident. The reports we are seeing officially have the nuclear physicists still drinking vodka and living in the local town.

This information is 10 years old and while it provides uselful information on what happened it hides the number of deaths and the impact on the local population.

This is a truly riveting tale and an excellent report.
