I would like to insert an image to a posting that I have already inserted to another posting. When I try to load it I get an error message telling me I have already stored this image. It does not say how to link to the existing image. I can go my CP and see the image9s), but do not understand on how to reuse them.

Also, can we have an image inserted into our signature block?

Not sure about your first question, but yes on the second.

Maybe I should have asked how do we insert a picture in our signature block.

This is a setting on my Signature edit screen. I am logged in. How do I get that setting changed.

"Can Upload Images for Signature No"

I'm assuming you are attaching the image, not inserting it from another site?

If so, rename it and try it the second time.

Open the CP control scroll down to the last box it will show all the pics an stuff you have posted . Look for the delete (delete ) then the system will accept new and old photo's and other stuff , hope this helped.

I had the same problem today with trying to reuse a picture. Renaming the file on my computer, then trying to upload it still does not work.
Deleting
the picture from a previous post does not seem like a good option.

Really, the best way to deal with images here is to host them online somewhere. It costs the MOA less money for storage and bandwidth and it allows you to not only share your pictures here, but to share them with your family.

I'm a big fan of Smugmug, but there are others, like Flickr, that are free.

So, the answer to the original question is you can only upload a picture to the site one time?

I was able to upload the same photo twice by doing both of:

1. Rename the photo (but that is not enough)
2. Resize the photograph at least slightly. I made it bigger.

Thanks Paul, that worked.

You might want to do SmugMug. You like to do pictures. I resisted for a long time, but I just did it for the NG pictures and I really like the freedom of posting them and moving them around. I feel EMPOWERED picture wise.

no, the answer to that original question is to use an on-line photo hosting service. I like Flock/Photobucket- free, flexible and easy.
