Is this going to be a great weekend for NFL fans or what? Just look at the eight teams that are left. I think we are in for some great football all the way through the Superbowl. I'm a Colts fan, so I'll be with them all the way. The Pats probably have the overall edge, but I think any team can be beaten. I'm sorry people, but my heart rate starting to rise before these games and I just had to vent. Is there anyone as wound up as I am?

My Steelers are out of it now so I can actually watch and enjoy the football! :lurk :drink
I know I have a HIGH possibility of getting insulted and possibly, banned from this forum, but since I was a small lad...my colors have been blue & silver. I celebrated with Roger Staughbach, I cried with Danny White, I cheered with Troy Aikman and have shed a few tears after his many replacements. It may be that my suffering is over and we could be a couple of seasons away from another tittle. Just keep Ms. Simpson away from the field.
Cowboy for life.
I do ENJOY watching Brett sting the ball and I must admit that the Pats are poetry in motion. The Colts have a place in my heart and the Dolphins will always be my Underdog favorite.
I love this game.
Now, let's go watch some people get hurt!

Don't make me come over there!
Favre's good, White was good, but this was the greatest packer of them all.....he made bears piss their pants in fear of having to line up in front of them.

NFL?? What is that?? :stick :dunno :rofl
Being from Europe I never got into football much. It can be a great game but the interuptions of all kinds makes it dull IMHO, as it isn't a fluid game like soccer. I have been to a few games such as the Colt's home games in Indy when they just snuck into town. (remember that??:laugh ) Seeing it life is cool and beats TV though.
I live further south now and I can't handle the Dolphin's anymore...:help
For you fans: enjoy the weekend!!:drink

...kinda makes it dull....riderGS
I get this from my Dutch family all the time. Then they'll go and watch voetball... Yawn. :laugh
But I think the enjoyment comes from understanding the game, and my knowledge of soccer is zip, and Australian Rules Football...:)
After Montana and Young retired, and the salary cap went on, I didn't watch much for a number of years, but now I enjoy watching Brady, Romo, Favre, and the Mannings. It's going to be a good weekend. And the Patriots game last night was pretty tight, for the most part.

The National Weather Service has informed me that an "arctic bulge" of cold air will be coming in this week.
The Tundra at Lambeau will indeed be frozen.
Maybe we'll see some of these guys come out of the tunnel.....

:twirl Somehow the Eli pulled the Giants past the Cowboys (with the Romo meltdown) and now we have the NFC Championship at Lambeau Field! How great is this? Temps are predicted to be in the single digits with wind chills below zero! :brad:brad :brad :brad
Now if i could only find tickets for under $450 a piece. Ebay has been on fire all night selling for outrageous prices.
Did anyone else see T.O. crying??

so psyched that both games next week are up north in the cold, and i'm not even a big football fan!
just seems so much more "real", it's how i grew up, being taken to high school games on thanksgiving with my grandmother.
seeing the Packers and Patriots in the superbowl somewhere warm just seems wrong.
