My daughter goes to school in Lakeland Fla. and was looking for a trustworthy, local place to get her oil changed. She has a 2000 Honda Civic, and could always go to the dealer if all else fails. I appreciate her calling, can anyone from that area help with this? :dance

If it is just an oil change, any quickie lube will do the job. Can't really mess that up. Just find out what oil they plan to put in if you are picky.

Can't help ya with a good wrench in FL. But a monkey could change the oil.

SOAP BOX...

One thing I hate about some of the quick oil change places is how they try to bump you to replace wipers, trany fluid, fuel filter and what ever else they offer.
I use to take my wife's car to Wal-Mart oli change service where they did a fairly good and job using Mobil 1 oil. All for about $30.
Now, I do all of the oil changes. Cheaper and better done.

Thanks for the replies, I had thought that the quickie places may look at her as a potential to sell excess stuff to, but she is pretty sharp, and would probably stop the process on the spot and call me. Plus she is a college student on a budget.:dance
