Here's an interesting approach to training new riders.http://ridersu.org/

Interesting idea. But this part gets me thinking:

Though the safety resources for motorcycle rider training are available, these are unknown by most and consistently inaccessible to many riders due to financial reasons

I can understand lots of new riders not knowing that safety-courses are available, but I don't get the financial part. The courses really don't cost much, especially compared to the other costs of getting onto two wheels.

I'll suspect it has something to do with putting a bike, accessories, and gear on a promotional credit card.....

edit: oops, hit the button early. I know a guy who did just that, has a $39 montly payment (awesome- just how long is is going to take to pay that baby off?) and complains about not being able to afford the insurance on it. its a shame.
