I hit 1and did not go down mine was much bigger but not much blood or guts. One pissed off rider one dead deer one trashed K1200RS

I hit one in my car once, or it hit me I should say. If i'd have been on the bike I don't think i'd be writing this! Missed a small one once while on my Kawasaki ZX-11 by no more than a couple of feet. It got plastered on the grill of an oncoming 18 wheeler. It seemed to come out of nowhere.

People do ride through them. Depends on where you hit the body. I didn't ride through the one I hit.
