I have a 1974 R90/6 "air head".It was in A barn for many years, not sure how many.I've road it for 2 yrs. and have it running well.I'm about to give it A good going over.New paint, new handle bars(from 24" drag bar to 30"euro-bar),oil change,Trans oil, rear end oil,and grease. So what I'd like to know is what else do I need to do or look at or tork down or replace?I plan on doing some touring this summer and want it to be reliable.See ya on the highway,James Elliott#132866 elyotsidecar:scratch

You should post this in the "airhead" forum. It will receive better response.

I would replace all engine, tranny, and final drive seals. Service the wheel bearings too. This list could go on and on. Brakes, electrics, cables, tires, swing arm bearings etc. Get the picture? I wouldn't go far from home without doing these things.
