You two have unknowingly expanded my musical horizons and cause me to download a bunch of Itunes.
How you ask?
I read The Morning reads religiously. I like the link to the Battlefield Biker website and read it fairly regularly. On Battlefield Biker he has listed a progrssive rock group called Contrarian.
I've got to tell you guys...if you like Rush, Kansas, etc you'll love this group and would do well to download a few of their tunes. The vocalist is amazing (yes you can actually understand him) and the instrumentals are even more so. If you take 1 cup each of Rush, Queensryche, Kansas, Supertramp, then add a dash of Dio, with 1/2 teaspoon of Deep Purple you get what I mean. This download was one of the best $9.99 I've ever spent.
Then Tessler. Ever since I've been a forum member I wanted to know "WTF is that eyeball thing in his avatar?"
Well, I did a search on google for eyeball tophat and got The residents. I also watched some of their short films. Wow. What great music.
