Welcome aboard. Good to have a fellow thirtysomething join the ranks. You have a great bike. That was my first Beemer. Same color and everything. Loved that bike. I have regretted getting rid of it. I am on my third. Love my GS but wish I still had my R. Great bike.
Loads of great info here. If you have a question bike related or otherwise, chances are you can get an answer in no time around here. Loads of smart folks around here.

Ride in the rain it keeps the bike clean.
Welcome! Watch out for the "Don't go there" part of the forum. :laugh

Welcome to the party! :thumb
I second the suggestion to ignore "Don't Go There". That's not a good representation of the membership... campfire is lots more fun, anyhow! :clap

Welcome aboard!
At age 31 (given the demographics of the MOA), you will need a permission slip from a parent for any overnight rides (just kidding).
I like your attitude - weather be damned - "I'm going riding!"
Enjoy the MOA. Good technical advice, GREAT magazine.

Welcome, Bill. This is a fun place and I'm confident that you'll enjoy it. Post often and let's see some pictures of that bike.

Nevermind that Brad ended his sentence with a preposition, that is no indication of his intellect.
Welcome, I say, regardless. If you are ever way out back east as far as Chicago, give me a shout.
J/K Brad! :stick

Bill!
Welcome to the wide wonderful world of the BMW MOA Forum!
(Fact+fiction) generated by ALL sorts of people from seemingly (50 states, throw in North America and some who reside in Mexico, Europe and beyond)
Combine that with (technical know how and great mechanical knowledge), (travel/motorcycle trip guide knowledge), (gear and equipment knowledge)
The best part? All that and a predominant attitude by the Members to unconditionally accept all who come in the door!
Welcome
