Does anyone have this system for their R1200S? Wondering about the sound, and general satisfaction with it. Cheers!

Since you have no replies as of yet I will chip in. I have a R1100s with the Staintune system and no cats that has been on the bike for 6 years. I run the system without the baffles in the mufflers. The sound is throaty and not terribly loud and you always have the option of running the baffles if you would like a more mellow sound. Living in Los Angles and splitting traffic lanes I prefer to have a bit more presence. The Staintune system really woke the motorcycle up compared to the stock unit. Though there was not much difference in performance from the OEM (a bit more mid range) the weight savings was substantial. Staintune's quality is second to none in fit, finish and hardware. I hope this helps a bit and hopefully someone will reply with one on a r1200s.

I'm not sure about the Saintune, but its good to see another r1200s owner here.

I had Staintunes on my Aprilia Caponord (sold it). Light weight, high quality, great sound.
They were pricey, but really improved the bike.
