I bought an airhead online and am not local to Denver. I am seeking a knowlegeable mechanic or afficianado to inspect the bike prior to sending payment. Is there anyone local to Denver (or specifically north Denver/Arvada) that one can recommend? Contact info would be appreciated and payment for services could be provided. Thanks.

Hi

I've been riding BWM's for a few years and have 2: an older RT and a newer GS. While no"expert" I be willing to go "eyeball" it for you.

We have snow/ice on the ground so a test ride this week is probably out of the question.

I'm a bit far north to come to Denver, sorry. I'm wondering if you asked the seller if one of the local Denver dealers is familiar with the bike? perhaps one of them could tell you what you need to know.

Probably the best you will find in the Denver area; really knows his Airheads.

I contacted Pete Foman and he went up to Westminster, inspected the bike and took it back to his shop. FIRST CLASS SERVICE! I wish I lived in Denver so that I could use him for all my stuff. Thanks to all for the recommendation and help. Y'all are great.

Ditto on Pete Homan. HE got me out of a little jam this summer when I was in Denver on my R75/5.

All around great guy and top shelf BMW mechanic.
