Just purchased a 2001 GS1150. Need new tires. Plan to ride on the road only. Suggestions for the best combination of good performance/good value/good mileage. Thanks!

The two favorites seem to Michilen Anakees, or Metzler Tourances. I just put on the Tourances. happy so far.

The Anakees are supposed to perform slightly better, but not last quite as long. The Tourances were the happy choice of GS riders for years. I'd buy whichever was cheapest from where ever you get tires.
