So yesterday my girlfriend and I went for a hike first thing in the morning when it was really cold. Wearing a puffy jacket, we made our way up to the "college M" a giant "M" made up of white rocks on the side of a mountain facing Bozeman. At the M, I happened to find a small box of chocolates that I bought for her and gave it to her. She was pretty happy about the chocolates, and I encouraged her to open the box, where in place of one of the chocolates was a ring. She picked out the ring months earlier, so she knew it was coming, but I don't think she expected to find it in a box of chocolates. And, to my delight, she said Yes!
In hindsight- I can't help but think about what Forest Gump's mama said about a box of chocolates....

Adam,
Congratulations.
What flavour was the ring in? I'm thinking soft centre as romantic, but nut cluster not so much!

to be honest, the chocolates came from a local hoity-toity "made in Bozeman" place and I believe I ate the "green tea" flavored chocolate to make room for the ring. www.chatelainechocolate.com (worth the money if you're into sweets!) Thanks for the kind words!
All the best to both of you!

I would have thought an Englishman would be better with reading tea leaves - I didn't know you could read chocolate truffles. What about girls who like... mint chocolate truffles, for example? :whistle

Thanks everybody!
Yes, I'd like it to be a motorcycle wedding. At the very least, I'm hoping that the announcements/invitations will have a picture of us with our BMWs! I was pushing to wear Carharts at the wedding, but that plan swiftly failed!
I'll get pictures up when I figure it out.....

Congrats, Adam. May your union be a long and happy one.
Hey Adam -
Mountains, Motorcycles, and Marriage make for memories that are more than magic.
May the spirit of this moment, and the promise of a lifetime of joy and happiness together, guide you through whatever twists and turns await you. :hug
When in doubt..., remember, more throttle and less brake.
J.K. :wow

Congrats! Marriage done right will amplify your good times, soften the edges of the bad days and let you have a richer life than you thought was possible. Best wishes to you both.
Sounds like an invitation card your family and friends will talk about (with smiles) for years to come.

That sometimes it can be sweet, sometimes it tastes oddly unexplainable, sometimes minty fresh, and sometimes you are surrounded by nuts?
