Can you identify what bike these engine bars fit? Someone is selling them and was told they fit a K100RT. He's never had them mounted and is unsure if they are for a K100. Any ideas?

They do not look like early K guards.

They appear to be for a boxer. Post the pics on the air/oil/hex tech pages. I'm sure someone will know exactlly what they fit.

... look like the ones on my /5. This is not a great picture of the bars but you may be able to enlarge. -Bob

upon closer examination they may not be exactly the same. However, prior to the ones in my picture I had a pair of bars even more like your picture but they were chrome. Real bugger when adjusting valves though. Not sure if I have a picture somewhere of those but if noone else gives the definitive answer I'll try and dig those out of the shed and forward a photo. -Bob

These may be engine guards made by Fehling. I've only seen them on one bike.
I would not reccomend them.

I remember seeing them years ago when K-Bikes were still new models. I only ever saw them on one bike and thought them a vey bad idea. It seems like they bolted dirctly to the motor without any rubber mounts.

I just bought K bike highway bars and those are not them. The K mounts to the engine with rubber shocks attached. No bar mount is involved.
