This 60 something is preparing to winterize my '94 K75s (purchased in Sept.). I cannot figure out how to remove the engine spoiler. I see two bolt areas near the front of the spoiler but can't see what kind of bolt is there.

Any hints?

Allen head bolts through the centers of the round two rubber bushings on the bottom. One more hex or allen on a tab to the radiator shroud.

Remove those then slide spoiler forward about an inch to disengage the rubber bushings from the bracket on the bottom of the engine and the tab sticking forward from the centerstand bracket. Piece of cake.:thumb

Getting the front bushings reengaged in the front bracket is a little more difficult the first time you do it (you have to hold your tongue just right), but gets easier once you've done it a time or two.:scratch

Check out a parts fiche for your particluar bike. Here's one from Max BMW. Sizes (along with part numbers) are shown on the chart accompanying each diagram. I've found these fiches to be quite valuable in finding out more about my bike.
