Thanks...that's exactly the question I was thinking I should ask earlier today for my 87 K75C. My hands get so dang cold, so I will be watching for the answer too.

BMW part# 71602315870 (black) or 71602315860 (white)

designed for K75 easy on off with change of seasons. Look great.

$24.80 a PAIR! at http://www.chicagobmwmotorcycle.com/

The black ones are faster.. (they're R100GS handguards in case you wanted to know..) Fit perfectly. May tap your windshield if you have one at full lock..

Don,

That is counter intuitive! The white ones, being LIGHTER, should be faster!:brow

From BMW Accessory Catalog:

3] Hand-Protection Sets Enduro riders will appreciate these protectors – especially in tough off-road conditions. They are aerodynamically formed and made from impact-resistant plastic.

K75/S, R 10065/PD, R 100 M/R (Black) 71 60 2 315 870

K75/S, R 10065/PD, R 100 M/R (White) 71 60 2 315 860

See, they list it as a K part first.:deal

What? Alphabetical?? Oh............................nevermind.

Nah! That is all wrong. The black ones absorb light spectrum energy. Suck it in so to speak. The white ones try to reflect it back forward. " .... every action equal and opposite reaction" and all of that.

Probably a bit hard to measure - but with a K75 you need all the energy you can get to keep up with those K1200 thingies 'n' stuff!
