What a South African Park Ranger that doesn't know enough to keep his tent zipped shut to keep the critters out ?

I learned that lesson in Southern Indiana at the "Beemers and Brats" rally. I left the tent only partially zipped; I'm guessing for about an hour around dusk. I zipped it up just as it got dark. Several hours later (about 1:30am) I get to my tent and find a huge spider inside. I "flick" him out. Then I see him again... "must have not gotten him out" I think. Flick him out again. Then I notice there are two JUST over my head, and one in the other corner. In the meantime, a certain MOA member is laughing at me from her tent, next door. :mad

As for advertisement photos, I'd rather be in one of the videos BMW put on their DVD at lasts years dealer open house. I want to be on the GS with the camera crew following doing "Around the world in 180 days". :thumb

BMW sure knows how to put adventure in their bikes. You breakdown remote and you have enough room to pack provisions till the KLR returns.

If you were in the military you would know enough about keeping it zipped. :stick

Get an Airhead; always fixable road-side; save for a cylinder being ripped off of the bike... even then you can probably plug the hole and run on one cylinder. :)

The military recruiter wanted me to join and do I.T. work. I was nearly convinced. Of course, he completely stopped asking me once he saw my medical history, at the time. :heh

i was covered in spider bites in lima cause of this.........
