Rode my F800ST for 2,300 miles. Loved it but needed to get something with a more upright sitting position because of neck issues. Got R1200RT. What a joy.

Neck problems, sure..........you just wanted the torque of the 1200! Just kidding, Glad the new ride allows more pain free riding, as we age, we all have to find ways to be able to stay on the bike. Sweet looking ride, be safe.

You don't hear of too many people that are unhappy with their RT. Sorry the 800 didn't work out, but you landed well! :clap

I'm loving my RT so far. I took it out through the twisties yesterday and had a great time. Its a pretty nimble bike.
