Help needed on how to fix.
I have a 1985 K100RT I am putting back together. Noticed that after
engine shutdown, the dash lights remain on. Any idea's, anybody, Mullier,
anybody.:lurk :help

I vaguely recall an issue with the key sockets... but don't recall the failure mode. Try spraying some good contact cleaner down in there and working your key in and out a few times... can't hurt!

Can't help either. The ignition switch assembly is two completely different and separate parts, one for the key lock and one for the electrical contacts. You could fill the key lock assembly with contact cleaner until it overflows and still not dribble any into the electrical switch assembly.
