I am gonna go and show those folks how to set their hair on fire and howl at the moon with no headlights.
That'll show 'em.

Oh yes, and eye candy for the silly shutter bugs.

FWIW -

Gillette?!

Location of the Rally doesn't surprise me given the group "dy'namics around here. It'll make those harkening back at the Lima experience, feel vindicated and nolstalgic.

For those of you contemplating more exciting venues in the future, how about associating our Rallies with Ski Areas, next time?

From Killington, to Big Bear/Squaw Valley, to Steamboat, Taos, Jackson Hole, and Sun Valley, and Big Sky in between, these resorts are PROVEN vacation destinations with much to offer in the way of rest and relaxation, terrific roads coming and going, National Parks and Wilderness Area, accomodations and amenities, and even killer shopping.

Oh yes, and eye candy for the silly shutter bugs.

If you need a reminder of what real fun can be like, ask people about Wolf Creek/ Duarago.

In paraphrased summary: box of rocks or box of rain, believe it if you need it, or leave it you dare. (... A ribbon of road, for your helmeted hair.) A long, long, time to be gone. And a short time to be there.

J.K.

P.S. Weighing the options...., carefully? :wow

If she weighs less than a duck she's a witch

Is a box of rocks as dumb as a sack of hammers?

I never met anything less than stunning looking women in Summit County
Aspen doesn't allow plain and unnattrative women in! Decade after decade from Gertrude Stein to Demi Moore and Claudene Longet

Even the AGATT/beemer Gals glowed like madonna space angels

We can alway put a dress on a transient worker from one of the coal pits or working on the new power plant construction in Gillette. Now that's fun! Finally an attraction.

I know somebody who never had fun at our rallies and stopped coming. As soon as he wasn't camped by us anymore, everybody started having fun. I also resent the fact that people that are happy with Gillette are called "drunks." Not even close in the slightest. We just plan on bringing the fun where we are. I am not bringing kids, so I don't much care about what is setup for them., I am not bringing my wife, although I enjoy spending time with her, I don't spend all my time with her. Therefore, I don't care about shopping. I will be happy with the vistas and riding in that area, maybe not 5 feet from the campsite, but close enough for me. If nobody shows up, I win all the bikes. :thumb
I appreciate what the BMWMOA has done (all the legwork), and I have had fun where ever it is, whenever I went, but that;'s me.
I laud the fact they can make 37% of the membership happy, with a group as diverse as this, it 'aint easy.

I am sad I CAN'T Go.
Sorry, I know the feeling, there have been several I couldn't make it to.

I hit 15 in a row, but the streak was bound to end. It was a crappy ending also.
After I missed that first one , the next ones were easier though. I also try not to go stressed out.
