I have 2000 R1150 GS I just bought this summer. The clock is set to military time and I would like to know how to change it to regular time. I do not have an owner manual, and the dealer could not help either. Love the bike and would appreciate any help

If there's a way I've never figured it out.. I'm pretty sure the 24hr clock is the only readout available.

After 6 years I just got use to it.
No way, owners manual doesn't help.

Regular time only exist in the US. The rest of the world uses a 24 hour time frame. This works well as there are 24 hours in the day. wave

I never gave a second thought to the clock being available in US Time format before this thread. Honestly, I don't remember the clocks on my previous long gone Beemers but I presume they had 24hr clocks as well

if you wanna trade clocks with me, that'd be cool, i hate the 12/12 format,
but i doubt my S clock is compatible with your GS clock, aside from being the wrong size it probably runs faster too:D

Thanks for trying everyone. I suppose I have to have at least one thing not to like about the bike. And to the one with the S that goes faster, can you plow through a deer and keep going. Mine did, and God kept me from laying it down and the bike took me another 80 miles home. The joke now is that a deer gave its life for me to be able to paint the bike the color I want. Keep having fun everyone.
