I just got a nice looking gas cap off of ebay for a Toaster tank which is on the way. The cap will need a new gasket. I have ordered the gasket and the 'nail'? but I'm not totally sure how this all works. It appears that I will need to remove the existing rivet, remove the old gasket and washers, etc. and replace but how to do that is my question.

Also would like to have a simple bar mounted short windshield for my '73 R75/5. Any suggestions on a source would be appreciated.

PS...any vintage air heads in the Ca. Gold Country email me :thumb

Parabellum makes a nice short shield. My friend mounted one on his R80 after taking off the RS fairing.

I bought a Parabellum windshield for my R75/6. It was a little pricey but very good quality. It mounts very solidly and does not interfere with the basic looks of the bike. Go here: www.parabellum.com
