I was on a trip to Maine a couple of weeks ago, when one morning the glue between the windshield halves separated, or something, making the windshield look a lot like a jig saw puzzle. What is the best after market replacement? I know there are several, but I would like to get the best one out there the first time. All input will be appreciated. BTW, I have ridden BMW's only for 37 years, and their rep. doesn't seem very interested in a 3 month out of warranty claim.
I would suggest trying the BMWLT site and doing a search on wind shields. You can probably spend a day or more reading through the articles. It depends on your height, passenger height etc.
Most common seems to be a Cee-Baileys. I personally have an Aero-Flow.

I have a cee Bailey with the wings. Stock size. I use it in the colder months. I'm 5'7 and I'm getting it cut down 3" it's a little tall for me now. Also my girl says she gets quite a bit of back draft pushing her forward. I told her don't be a stranger and come on up. Good luck.
