Based on owning a couple Corbin seats, I'd be you're sore right along the back of your upper thigh, courtesy of the ridge they put on all their seats.

You have to do a better job pushing those buttons.

Your butt is my new screensaver.

ground zero is where it hurts. I really like both my oem 1978 saddles, the solo and dual. But I think the prob is anatomy, not design. :thumb

If you rode your bicycle as seldom as you rode your motorcyle, that seat would hurt you, too.

If you ride either every day, you'll get used to it.

My but never really hurts after a long ride. I get more pain and fatigue in my neck and shoulders. I've always found BMW stock seats to be fairly decent, so I spend the money I'd normally spend on a Sargents or Corbin on alternate goodies.

I had my stock seat re-upholstered with a firmer foam last winter. With this seat, I am always comfortable, even covering a 1,000 km in a day, although I do tend to frequently change positions. My pain sometimes shows up in my mid-back. Guess I need to move the bars back further. Luckily, I don't feel your pain, Mike.

An often recommended trick is to wear padded bicycle-type shorts under your riding pants ONLY.....no underwear with seams that could cutting off blood circulation to your butt.

Also, every so often......try to get some weight OFF the seat to allow better circulation.....

My Sargent seat on the RT is perfect for me. The Corbin Dual touring seat was excellent for me on the RS. Most folks love or hate Corbins.......:brow

First let me say that both my mom, my dad and my aunt trained as Fighter COPs (RCAF Fighter Control Operators) in Clinton in the late '50s.

As for where my butt hurts -- during and after my legs hurt from about mid-thigh up to the my hip joint. My right leg starts to hurt before my left leg. But I have the same issue when driving in my cage.

Recovery is fairly quick as soon as I get a chance to move around and sit in a different chair.

The base is still there though overgrown with stuf and decaing buildings. The base was designated CFB Vanastra RCAF. lot of stuf still there and there is talk of reactivation for Afganistan support to relief of Trenton # 8 airwing . What a boon to this old RCAF base as it would help the local economy as well the instalation of a new runnway system to restore for trenton overuns.
