Happy Thanksgiving to our friends and family north of the 49th!
If it weren't for Martin Frobisher, where would we be on this day? Iqaluit, actually! :scratch
This day is especially important for me, as my wife is Canadian and her family heritage (Ukrainian) takes Thanksgiving to heart. Growing up in Saskatchewan, a bountiful harvest was ever so important and Thanksgiving has always been a special holiday. Due to scheduling conflicts, we won't be celebrating Thanksgiving until next weekend so we'll be counting down the days until we're enjoying turkey, perogies and cabbage soup on a lovely Fall day in Yorkton, SK.
Enjoy your day my fellow Canadians, and remember all you have to be thankful for!
