Do they have a big event? Gosh your post made me hungry. Speaking of breweries...before I left Chicago (to go to school) I used to go to the Siebens Brewery on the "nort" side on Larrabee near Clybourn and have a ham and swiss on rye and a schooner of Sieben's draft . They had a neat outside patio on the original brick street from the old days. It's said that Torrio and then Capone owned the brewery at one time. My dad had Sieben's beer in his tavern for many years.
So tell us about the New Glarus Octoberfest...and dang, that's a great picture...
