Blinkers to running light conversion options

I have a Kisan signal minder and it malfunctions on my RT. I really DONT want the blinkers to self cancel; all I want is selectable 4 way running lights using the blinkers.

Kisan has not been able to correct the issue and a replacement is no better. Perhaps it is something weird with my RT :help
But the OEM blinker module works ok.

If the current Kisan plug-in is malfunctioning, and the factory-provided replacement module also malfunctions, I'm inclined to believe the problem is with the bike and not the Kisan turn signal module. I have one on my '02 RT and it works flawlessly.

Nevertheless, I have no clue what to do to the RT next; the OEM blinker works as designed. So the "problem" is something the Kisan doesnt like. The one on my 1100R works fine too.

All I really want is a user selectable running light conversion.

same relay for both right? and swapping has same results? They haven't made one for HexHead RT's yet, but I moved them from 1100's to 1150's with no issues.

Just what is not working? Using the cancel & flasher button to change settings does nothing to change?

LOL....you said that too,:doh I thought there were dip switches on some to set prefs?mine are default to about 8 seconds, or just before you make a turn:laugh

I'm spending too much time checking to see if they are blinking or need to be activated again.

The OEM blinker module works just fine. So I'm not convinced something is "wrong" with the RT. But obviously there is something the Kisan doesnt like...

not being a :jester , but on my R's I barely touched the signal button and it cancels with the Kisan. And you did swap with the better halfs and it still does it?

Yeppers, same story. There is something with the RT the Kisan doesnt like... My SM-5 works just fine in her R bike.

But that is not much consolation when you are nearly run over because your blinkers unexpectedly stopped :rofl
