Heading out for a 5 day run (from New Brunswick, Canada) with 4 buddies to Orlando. We'll be leaving the bikes there in storage for the winter and visiting in about February (coldest time of year here :violin ) and then taking a week to ride home in April or May 2008.

We figure with 5 days to do the distance (+/- 1500 miles?), we will have time for some more interesting rides off the I-state.

I'm hoping you fine ladies and gentlemen have some suggestions for some fun side-rides we could take without getting too far off the path (ME to FL -- believe main drag w/b I-95).

We LOVE twisties, scenery, smooth pavement, pretty girls :brow ...... and well lots of other things unrelated to biking so will leave it at that.

Look forward to hearing from you. :thumb

Blue Ridge Parkway, man. Beat feet down to Front Royal, Virginia and then jump on the BRP. Speed limits aren't that fast, but there's not a stop light the whole way.

The views are great and the riding is decent. :thumb

It'll take you all the way down to North Carolina, too.

When in Orlando, do drop a note here. May BMW riders meet at the Steak & Shake on Semoran Blvd every Thursday night. Many of them are members of this forum!
