Son had a little spill on some very bad "gravel" this week. He is sore and a little beat up but no broken bones (leather jacket and helmet are done for - never ride without good gear).

The bike has a broken off left rear taillight. Front part of the faring that wraps around the front where the headlight is behind needs to be replaced.

Anyone have any idea where to get parts other than order "new" from BMW? Color black.

Thanks for any ideas!!!

Same thing happened to my son while riding my RS. Thank God for good riding equipment. I was able to get all the parts to repair the bike from
www.boneyardbeemer.com at fair prices and much cheaper than new. :thumb

I have a whole upper faring for your RS. It is ticket-me-red and has about a 1 inch scratch on the right side. If you are interested you can e-mail me.

Pat Carol or anyone else --

Can you paint the body parts (e.g. front cowling cover) or is molded plastic not able to be painted????

That stuff can be painted. In fact my friend John Diakonis can paint that upper faring. You can go to Prism painting.com and see the work he does.
If you attendended the West Bend National, John's 1100s took first place in the paint class. The man is an absolute perfectionist. His lovely wife is his critic/quality control officer.
I could get a price from John on having the faring part painted. I would need the paint code from your machine.
The faring portion that I have is very nice. There is a small scratch on right side no more than an inch and a half.
