i've never had any exhaust smoke or oil use issues from this bike which is aproaching 18k. But the last couple rides to work i've noticed some grey smoke coming from the right side cyl. area. This was noticed when the bike was left running on the sidestand for 2-3 minutes. I put it on the centerstand and left it running while taking the seat off. More smoke from inside. I left Her on the centerstand/cooled for 15 minutes= when started and run for another 5 minutes no smoke. Any ideas?

Any ideas?Check for a fuel leak from the fuel lines and quick disconnects under the right side of the tank, and under the right plastic cover above the throttle body and below the tank. This may only happen for a few minutes before the bike warms up. When the leaking fuel runs down over the transmission housing and onto the catalytic converter, it produces a highly flammable white "smoke."
Does the right side of your transmission housing look as though a dog has been marking its territory?
