NGK caps

So maybe this is a stupid question for you . . . I just got some NGK caps and new wires, and I can't seem to get the caps seated fimly on the plug. The old ones clicked on and off fine, but these don't want to go. Perhaps there is some trick I'm not aware of . . . hmmm?

new plugs as well? Make sure the little tip is unscrewed off the new plug. AFAIK, NGK caps mate to the threads.
