I am a new member and have noticed that the "anonymous book" is mentioned often. Where would I find a link to the Book? Or is it online? If not, how do I obtain one?

You should get one when you sign up to the MOA. You might want to give it a few weeks and then call the main office in Missouri. Maybe one of the moderators can redirect your question to the right person. I don't believe the Anonymous listings are on line.

It will arrive along with your welcome letter, patch, and sticker. Couple of weeks.

I have the same question that I need to call the office about. I am sure that this is the end of the busiest time of year for them and they should be catching up on this stuff. I re-joined just before the rally after about a 5-year lapse. I got my card and welcome letter but naught else yet. I could have used that A-book the other day when my R100 went dark suddenly...

Send an email to membership@bmwmoa.org describing your situation, name, etc. They will give you an update about when you should receive your Anonymous book. Don't forget to list yourself in next year's issue. :brow

Kstoo's problem is mine--I put a new battery in my 1981 R100RT and all power is gone. I thought I would use the book to try to have a conversation about the problem. I got my member info but no book, just the patch and sticker. Thanks for the help.

I am doing my diagnosis and repair this saturday morning. I will let you know what I find out to give some leads as to what to look for. My fuses are good and there is 12 - 13 VDC going into the ignition switch but when I turn it on something sinks the volts down to less than a volt! Me thinks shorted diode. I will move this to another thread if it becomes significant. silly airhead!

From what I have learned from talking to a mechanic, I think I will need a diode board. Or the relay under the gas tank. I'm taking it in for repair. I just got this bike and the score is already Airhead 10--Me 0. I'll let you know what it is in about a week.
