Colorado is everything they say it is and more. Photos do not do it justice but for a seven minute video of my two week adventure go here: http://dakardag.phanfare.com/album/407003#imageID=25943856
No registering, no spam or pop ups, just the video although I put some of my unique humor at the end so if that bugs you...don't watch that part.:nyah

There is plenty to see on the paved roads (including a 16% grade at Black Bear Canyon) but the county roads are the Bees Knees for an Adventure Bike.

We wimped out at Opher Pass (oh we could have made it but...well, you know.)and came to the conclusion that anything with the word "pass" in it requires further study however the county roads are wonderful, easy and remote.

Crank the video up and if you enjoy the soundtrac you can buy it on I Tunes (and maybe Mary McCaslin won't be mad at me for using it without asking her)

I have a somewhat botulated list of routes and tracs if anybody wants them.

Cheers,
Dagger

Having done the passes around Ouray (to Silverton and Telluride) a number of years ago in a 4-wheel landcruiser-you probably made the right decision to skip that part. But then, I'm no adventurer. Some of the pass twisties would be a real challenge but some of the high flats are gorgeous.

That was pretty cool. CO is one of my favorite places and I think you did it just
fine.

One thing though. Where can I get me a pair of those jeans :heart
